Our concept started with two sisters and their friends in Northern California high schools. We were tired of consignment stores offering us next to nothing for our clothes, then marking them up for resale. We tried snapping photos and posting on the big resale apps, but boxing things up and shipping them across the country only to make a few dollars never felt worth it. And we knew there had to be a better way to resell an expensive prom dress we would never wear twice.
We wanted a simple, local way to buy and sell with girls we know or share mutual connections with. TriValley Girls Porch Shop makes it easy to refresh your closet, earn some extra cash, and support other girls in our community across the East Bay.
Thanks for being part of something good. Let's keep it simple, local, fair.

To give local students a simple, safe, and fair way to pass loved pieces from one closet to the next, so great things keep getting worn, sellers are paid what their items are truly worth, and every exchange stays close to home.
A porch in every community: little shops run by students, for students, where you buy from people you know or share friends with, quality is passed along instead of thrown away, and the money stays right here in our neighborhoods.
Keep it local. Keep it among people you are connected to. Sell honestly, price kindly, and skip the greedy markups. Choose quality that deserves a second life. Look out for each other the way friends do. Simple, local, fair, always.
